Now Playing: Sounds of the Construction of the Lifts Outside - Foreign Workers

It's not cool when you're trying to sleep and there is this crazily deafening ruckus from just outside your window. They stop for about five minutes, and you think to yourself, some damned peace at last. And before you know it, they're hammering stuff again like nobody's business. Y'know, the noise just annoys and pisses you off. And the humid weather isn't really helping much either. My room feels like a bloody sauna without the air conditioning.

I know the upcoming lifts are for convenience and all, but I don't relish the cutting/smashing/whatever-stuff-they-are-doing. Well, the lifts aren't going to be very beneficial for me actually, seeing that I stay on the forth floor. It's the old folks around me (yes, I'm surrounded by dying old folks) who are going to be putting the lift to good use.

Speaking of old people, it's depressing staying around people who are expiring. I love old people.. if they're alive and kicking.. and.. healthy. But look at my freaking estate! There's a damned funeral every other week. Oh and, someone's probably going to kick the bucket next week. Trust me, someone died last week already. I suggest they make the funeral tent and stuff permanent or something. Less hassle and stuff. (;

I'm not being insensitive and all.. okay, maybe I am. But well, that's just the way it is.

Last night was a blast. Could have been better if there wasn't only five people. We started off at East Coast and cycled to the Singapore Flyer, Rochor Road, Henderson Waves (where I blindly cycled into Buddhist offerings) and Orchard Road. Rochor Road beancurd is awesomely awesome.

Photos.. aren't with me. Shall try and steal them from Facebook when Ridho wakes up.

As for me, I shall try and get some rest after dinner. I'm desperately hoping for the temperature to dip. Ending here. Ciao!
