Hey readers. I'm freaking thrilled/overjoyed. Made it to the Top 20 for my school's X-Country run. May not seem like a big deal for some of you guys out there, but it is for someone who ranked #66 last year. Received a trophy for coming in 15 in position, and a medal for the first cougar team to finish the race. Three cheers to me!
And congrats to Leon! He completed the race in 18 minutes, finishing first. And cheer up bro, even though your trophy broke, you know you're number #1! (He doesn't visit my blog, so someone please tell him to read this!)
And congrats to the receiving end of Singtel (Who is, none other than me), Andre. Although he didn't get a trophy, he received a medal. Yay for us eh? And speaking of Andre, apologies to Joey, I didn't pass my phone to Andre for your "daily dosage" of that jackass. I mean, lovable boy. (Any offense/insult is regrettable)
Yeah. Woke up at 6am today (a complete half-hour early), to meet Fangyi, Elaine, Dorothy and June at Fangyi's house bus-stop. I swear people look like, and totally behave like zombies in the morning. I'm no exception. (: Loads of people on board 34 this morning, mainly consisting of familiar faces.
Race started earlier than expected. Leon wasn't feeling well at first, but he ran like a mad man. I tried pacing him at first, but a couple of dudes were in my way. So I had to pace some other dude ahead of me. Haha, upper sec dudes, you guys lost to a guy who wasn't feeling well!
Songhan decided to cut my path at the finishing line. I shall strangle the next time I see him. (: Oh, and I was panting like some dying dog when I was done. I've never ran that long without stopping. And I swear I should have brought a cat; Fangyi only runs with cats around. I couldn't stop laughing when I thought of it.
Argument broke out after we were dismissed; shan't say what happened. It just screwed up our moods. Anyway, we left shortly after playing at the happy playground. Yes, those people with deprived childhoods. *Shakes head* Lunched at TM, walked to North CC for a snack and made for home.
Okay, mundane post overall. No inspiration today! Okay, the rock's going to sign off. I swear my nicknames just keep increasing. =\
