Time flies. I swear it seems just like hours since I was sitting at home flopping around on January 1st 2007. Then, the question that probably strikes everyone: What have I accomplished this year? Oh I remembered something that happened in 2007. I thought Fergie was a guy. And something embarrassing recently; at Bugis. Shan't tell you guys, I don't wanna be the new year laughing stock.
This year practically zoomed by! Yes, I'm saying it again.
2008. A brand new year. And a very important year at that. O'Levels coming up probably even before I know it. Despite constant reminders that this holidays were for preparations, I spent majority of this break flopping around, playing basketball, outings, gaming, and anything you could think of that does not require studying! But no regrets, this year I'll be more serious, less basketball after school, and maybe more catching up on my maths.
Just had my first lunch of the new year. But I didn't really like it. Looking forward to dinner though. I eat really little for lunch anyway; just ate lots of fish and drank coffee later.
So, gonna try and finish some of my homework - English and Maths. Meeting Fangyi for my Chinese homework later. It's gonna take more than a miracle to ace Chinese O's next year. But thinking about it, I'm aiming for polytechnic, so it's not that important? Oh, and I'm aiming for 10 points for L1R4 this year!
Right, rewinding to last night!
Was at Asian Civilizations Museum (Near the Esplanade) for the New Year Countdown. Was totally entertained by the 91.3 FM folks there last night, and the Top 50 91.3 hits countdown. The top song was Apologize by Timbaland and One Republic, no questions asked. It was damn crowded, loads of folks screaming even before midnight. The fireworks were accompanied by a music composition by um, I forgot who he was. Iskandar Ismail, if I'm not wrong. Super cool. Train-ed back home after that.
I think I've like a lot of pictures of yesterday (Mainly fireworks and my sister). But I'm really lazy to grab the camera. So you guys would probably never see them.
Okay, Gonna DotA first (Old habits die hard, no matter what), followed by a shower, collection of my homework, and then, finally, homework. God knows what time that would be then!
Some nice music from the Top 50 Singapore hits last night. Not all of them were included though. I love Face Down by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, super addictive! Oh and can some nice people send me the songs on this list?
